Ticonderoga Municipal Airport (FAA LID: 4B6) is a public-use airport located two nautical miles (3.7 km) northeast of the central business district of Ticonderoga, a town in Essex County, New York, United States. It is owned by the Town of Ticonderoga.[1] This airport is included in the FAA's National Plan of Integrated Airport Systems for 2009–2013, which categorized it as a general aviation facility.[2]

Facilities and aircraft

Ticonderoga Municipal Airport covers an area of 60 acres (24 ha) at an elevation of 273 feet (83 m) above mean sea level. It has one runway designated 2/20 with an asphalt surface measuring 4,041 by 60 feet (1,232 x 18 m).[1]

For the 12-month period ending September 10, 2008, the airport had 11,000 general aviation aircraft operations, an average of 30 per day. At that time there were 12 aircraft based at this airport: 83% single-engine, 8% multi-engine and 8% helicopter.[1]
